<p>Thanks for joining me to celebrate my first milestone &#8211; 1 week into my diet!  (Woo hoo!)</p>
<p>Today was a dull, dark, &#8216;dreich&#8217; day here in Stirlingshire.  It was the sort of miserable day that can send you reaching for the comfort foods like fry-ups, pie &#8216;n beans, fish &#8216;n chips, bangers &#8216;n mash (and other blah &#8216;n blah type dishes! LOL)  Hey, but not me!!  I was a good girl and stuck to my diet.</p>
<p>I had my usual honey and raisin porridge with a <a title="Redbush Tea" href="http://www.tetley.co.uk/Redbush" target="_blank">Redbush </a>tea for breakfast.  For lunch I had some lentil soup (this time from the sandwich van that visits my office, rather than my home-made soup) and some oatcakes with humous.  Later, I had a pear and some fruit juice for a snack.</p>
<p>For dinner, I was quite adventurous and made some vegetarian chilli with brown rice.  I concocted the chilli recipe from my own head:</p>
<ul>
<li><a title="Quorn" href="http://www.quorn.co.uk/" target="_blank">Quorn</a> mince</li>
<li>Garlic clove</li>
<li>Half a courgette diced</li>
<li>Half a red onion diced</li>
<li>Green pepper diced</li>
<li>Carrot diced</li>
<li>Half a tin of chopped tomatoes</li>
<li>A tablespoon of tomato puree</li>
<li>A sprinkle of mild chilli powder</li>
<li>Garlic infused extra virgin olive oil</li>
<li>Salt &amp; pepper</li>
</ul>
<p>It was delicious!  I made extra so that I can take some into the office for lunch with a jacket potato tomorrow.  (My colleagues will be so jealous!!  LOL)</p>
<p>As I type this, I am sipping another cup of <a title="Redbush" href="http://www.tetley.co.uk/Redbush" target="_blank">Redbush </a>tea.  Redbush is a naturally caffeine free drink made by <a title="Tetley" href="http://www.tetley.co.uk" target="_blank">Tetley</a>.  It is as hydrating as water and is rich in antioxidants.  Therefore it is the ideal drink for me to have during this 28-day diet.  You can enjoy <a title="Tetley Redbush" href="http://www.tetley.co.uk/Redbush/Great-taste/Make-a-great-cup-of-Redbush" target="_blank">Tetley Redbush</a> just like your normal tea.  Drink it with or without milk and sugar.  It has a naturally sweet taste and I have enjoyed drinking it on its own.  It is very refreshing!</p>
